*      BOB Health Van – The most exciting news this year is

welcoming the Tuolumne County school based health van to campus twice a month.  Every other Monday morning BOB is

parked in front of the Oak Pavilion ready to serve students.

Please look for the flyer explaining the services offered by BOB.  It will be in your mailbox.  I am asking your help in getting the word out to students about this great and needed new service.  THANK YOU

 

*      UPCOMING EVENTS-

*    FLU VACCINE ON CAMPUS /  OCTOBER 20/21 –

I will be offering flu clinics in the office on these two days from 9-3. Flu vaccine will be available as long as it lasts during regular health office hours by drop in. Prepay and bring receipt.

New Date* MOOD SCREENING DAYS / OCTOBER 27/28- 8:30-12:30 

            We will offer a questionnaire in the Tamarack Gallery

               for students to assess for depression, anxiety, bipolar

               disease and post traumatic stress.   Counselors are on

               hand to assess results and refer students to on or off

               campus counseling.  Many students have been guided to received

               help in the last three semester we have done this.

New Event  VIOLENCE PREVENTION with MOUNTAIN WOMEN”S

                 RESOURCE CENTER / OCTOBER 29th 9-3 Tamarack Gallery

                 Mountain Women’s Resource reps will bring information on

                 Domestic violence including sources for help.

              

          *  HIV/AIDS AWARENESS DAYS / November 4/5  9a-3p

               Again with the Tuolumne County Health Department we bring

               the latest information on local and global HIV/AIDS.

          *  ALCOHOL FACTS DAYS / NOVEMBER 17-20 afternoons

             In the library gallery we will offer information on alcohol use and

                facts with a focus on responsible decision making. New Event
